Hi, everyone! I know it’s been a while since I last posted a blog post, but I promise it has been for a good reason. I’ve been working diligently behind the scenes to put together a book that delineates my P7 Protocol™ for integrated mental wellness, which is the method I developed and use in my private practice to help people battling anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, and other mental and physical health concerns achieve optimal overall wellness. All of that hard work has paid off and my book, Optimize Your Body, Heal Your Mind, is finally here! I’m confident that this book will be indispensable in empowering many people to take control of their health and regain optimal wellness.

To give you an idea of what’s included in the book, first I share my personal experience with mental health concerns and then I briefly go into the history of mental health treatment in the United States. Next we delve into the details of the P7 Protocol™, which includes looking at a variety of different factors such as genetics; hormonal status, which includes reproductive, metabolic, thyroid, and adrenal hormones; gastrointestinal health and the state of the microbiome; and many additional factors that research has shown (time and time again, mind you) can cause, predispose individuals to, or worsen mental health conditions. In my experience, assessing for and appropriately addressing these concerns using my P7 Protocol™ for integrated mental wellness frequently results in a reduction in or complete resolution of symptoms. Before I close, I’ll leave you with this. I’m doing this because I know, regardless of what I’ve shared so far about my professional experience using this approach, there’ll be some people who are still wondering if this book will actually be able to help them.
